We stayed for 3 days on the right bank, then traveled thru the Loire Valley and then to Bordeaux for a week, and then back to Paris for two nights and we wanted to stay on the Left Bank. TripAdvisor had good reviews for you. We enjoyed our stay very much. We like boutique hotels. We were a bit concerned about the noise level in the room as we faced the street. Then we noticed the windows were open just a little bit. Locking them made a huge difference, and my wife who is a light sleeper was very impressed. (So remember to tell guest to make sure the windows should be locked! Great location - walking past the Pantheon took us to a very active, area with mostly students (I think), and a few tourists. Lots of restaurants and a fun vibe. Prices at restaurants were reasonable too. Hotel staff got us a car for the airport; had breajfast set up a little early so we could get something. We'd stay again.

This was my first stay at the Hotel le Petit Paris. I’m happy to say I was very pleased with my overall experience. As a frequent visitor to Paris, I love the location, largely because of how easy it is to get to from CDG via the RER. The hotel is an easy 4 minute walk from the RER station. The staff handled everything professionally and courteously over my 9 night stay, beginning with the efficient and prompt booking and continuing through my checkout. Both rooms I was in were attractive and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a nice selection of items. Any questions or concerns I had were promptly attended to, and all of the staff were helpful and courteous. Everyone spoke English quite well, much better than my limited French. There were 2 areas that detracted from my experience. The major one was the street noise. For my first two nights I had a room on the second floor facing the rue Saint Jacques. Though the room had double pane windows, I found the noise from the constant heavy traffic disturbing. Even using ear plugs when I wanted to sleep, I could still hear the steady noise. For a 2 or 3 night stay, I wouldn’t have minded, but for 9 nights the noise would have been too much. Fortunately I was able to be relocated to a room at the back of the hotel and I was able to enjoy a noise-free sleep for the rest of my stay. The other issue was that I found the Wi-Fi somewhat slow and not always dependable, although at other times it worked quite well. This was a minor problem and one that didn’t interfere very much with my stay. I want to thank all of the staff for the excellent service I enjoyed. It was a pleasure staying with you. Merci et à bientôt. Edward Hartnett
